Gene expression analysis was performed after 2 d of exposure to a high concentration of NaCl (200 mmol/L) or mannitol (200 mmol/L) in hydroponics. Expression analysis was performed by semiquantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Gel images were representatives of the profiles from three independent biological replicates with two technical replicates each.
