Pedigree single-plant selection was conducted for two generations under the ultra-low density (ULD) of 1.2 plants/m2 in honeycomb trials (NR0 and R21). Progeny families were tested under ULD in R21 trials, typical crop density (TCD) of 500 plants/m2 in RCB trials, and four densities (100, 300, 500, 700 plants/m2) in SPLIT-PLOT trials.
