Boxed sequence represents coding sequence, and the sequence between the boxed regions is an intron. Shaded sequence corresponds to a Stowaway-type element discovered in the durum wheat sequences J4.2 and C7.1.2, but not in J2.2 and C5.36.2. Shaded sequence in italics is a direct repeat of the second half of the element, located immediately following the complete Stowaway element in C7.1.2 (see Fig. 2).
