An open triangle represents the population with the Minsoy allele and a closed triangle represents the population with the Archer allele. Panels 2 and 3 show the four allelic sub-populations corresponding to segregants at the two loci: (•) Archer allele of Satt507 and Minsoy allele of Satt561; ({circ}) = Archer allele of both; ({blacksquare}) = Minsoy allele of both; ({square}) = Minsoy allele of Satt507 and Archer allele of Satt561
