Panels 1 and 4 show the two allelic sub-populations at the Satt277 or B172_2 loci respectively. An open triangle represents the sub-population with the Noir l allele and a closed triangle represents the sub-population with the Archer allele. Panels 2 and 3 show the four allelic sub-populations corresponding to segregants at both loci: (•) Archer allele of B172_2 and Noir allele of Satt277; ({circ}) = Archer allele of both; ({blacksquare}) = Noir1 allele of both; ({square}) = Noir allele of B172_2 and Archer allele of Satt277
