Genetic Mapping of the Wheat Leaf Rust Resistance Gene Lr60 (LrW2)

Figure 1. Alignment of four genetic maps of chromosome 1DS to compare the relative positions of microsatellite loci, Lr60 and Lr21. The map of RL6043/RL6172 was constructed from an F2 population and the genetic distance based on the frequency of leaf rust susceptible progeny. The map of CDC Alsask/Alsen was based on 47 doubled haploid (DH) lines. The map of RL6172/AC Foremost was based on 24 homozygous resistant (Lr60) and 24 homozygous susceptible F2 plants. The map of SV8021V2/AC Karma has produced from 92 DH lines. Map distances are in centimorgans.
