Fig. 1. Proposed linkage map of the Pc58 resistance gene cluster in TAM O-301. Map of the Pc genes is based on phenotypic data from reactions of Ogle x TAM O-301 F6:7 RILs to six isolates of P. coronata. Genetic markers are based on RFLP probes from rice (RZ) and wheat (PSR) and complimentary DNA from oat (CDO and OISU). Genetic distances (left) were generated by Mapmaker 3.0. Double lines (right) indicate homologous areas on the Ogle x TAM O-301 linkage map and boxes (right) indicate areas homologous to chromosome D (filled) on the A. atlantica x A. hirtula diploid oat map.
