The F2 and F3 generations of the cross Ga-Jet x G. I. 11540 and its reciprocal were studied for resistance to culture 64.2 of race 8 of Puccinia hordei in the seedling stage. The F2 generation of Ga-Jet x Cebada Capa was also observed for seedling reaction to the same culture of leaf rust. The results indicated that C. I. 11540 had one incompletely dominant gene conditioning resistance to leaf rust, while Cebada Capa had one completely dominant gene.
