Six doubled haploid stocks of Nicotiana tabacum L. were evaluated for 10 quantitative characters. Significant differences were found among lines within five of the stocks. The results indicate that genetic changes had occurred in some of the haploid-derived lines and that the stocks differed in degree of stability.
