Seed Number and Position in the Pod in Relation to Crossing in Alfalfa, Medicago Sativa L.1

A highly significant positive regression coefficient of percentage of crossed seeds on seeds-per-pod was obtained in a white flowered alfalfa synthetic. Crossed seeds within the pod were randomly located.
