Influence of Density on Plant Variation in Fiber Flax, Linum usitatissimum L.1

Plants of fiber flax develop a log normal frequency distribution of dry weight with age and increased density. Capsule number per plant shows an even more skewed frequency distribution. Mean seed number per capsule and individual seed weight are less sensitive to density but frequency distributions are not normal.
