Bivalents in Metaphase in of Haploid Linum africanum L .1

D. M. Yermanos and K. S. Gill2

Bivalents with chiasmate at metaphase I in pollen mother cells of haploid Linum africanurn L. (n=15) indicate that it may have evolved through autopolyploidy.
