Small Sample Oil Analysis of Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L) and Crambe (Crambe abyssinica Hochst. ex. R. E. Fries) Seed1

A technique for determining oil percentage in small samples of safflower and crambe is given. Ten tons of pressure combined with two solvent washes may give adequate oil extraction for gross separation of breeding material
