A seed cleaning system was developed for self-propelled plot combines used to harvest soybeans [Glycine max(L.) Merr.]. With this cleaning system, a seed sample free of debris can be obtained with minimum seed loss. The cleaning system has four components that have not been used previously on plot combines: a moving seed deflector, a conveyor under the top sieve, a conveyor under the bottom sieve, and a second cleaning fan.
