Morphological and Cytological Characteristics of Five Additional Trisomics of Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench1

K. F. Schertz2

This paper describes the second 5 of the 10 primary trisomics of Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench for which chromosome identities were previously reported. They consist of the light-green (H), sparse-branch (B), spear (J), asymmetric (F), and compact (C) trisomics. Gene-linkage studies should be expedited by these descriptions and by the mvitual chromosome identities in the sets of trisomic and translocation stocks.

Key Words: Grain sorghum • Chromosome • Aneuploid
