Dry Colletotrichum trifolii inoculum from alfalfa (Medicago saliva L.) stored 10 months in a freezer at –20 C, or in a refrigerator at 7.5 C, was as virulent as freshly blended V-8 juice agar cultures. Dry inoculum stored at 21 C was nearly avirulent at the end of 4 months.
