Carboxin, a systemic fungicide, greatly retards low temperature-induced discoloration in zoysia and Bermudagrass. Zoysia plants sprayed with 0.5 to 2% carboxin solutions retained their green color for 4 to 6 weeks at 2 to 4 C and 1800 ft-c illumination; untreated plants became yellow-brown under these conditions.
