A search for sexual reproduction in Eragrostic curvula has revealed four introductions with pollen of diploid size. One of these, a known diploid, was extensively studied. Self-pollinated seed set and all progeny performance data support the hypothesis that this introdduction is a highly cross-pollinated, sexual strain.
