Estimates of seed set of indiangrass, Sorghastrum nutans (L.) Nash, were slightly higher with x-ray photography than with the rubbing-board method. However, the two methods agreed closely in relative seed set of different strains. The low x-ray dosage had no apparent effect on seed germination.
